The Crommelin Group Expands its Presence in WA with Acquisition of Air & Power

Perth, WA – Friday, 01 March 2024- The Crommelin Group, a prominent Australian industrial equipment and services company is proud to announce its acquisition of Air & Power PTY LTD, a Belmont-based business that sells and services compressed air equipment to the Perth metropolitan area.

With a 30-year track record of excellence in the sales and service of air compressors, Air & Power is the Western Australian distributor for Pilot Air Compressors and Masport Vacuum pumps. Specialising in small and portable air compressors, the acquisition will complement The Crommelin Group’s existing pneumatic businesses- Pneumatic Engineering (Perth) and Mobile Compressed Air (Adelaide).

Today this ‘can do’ attitude continues, and the acquisition of Air & Power will improve our offerings for our customers.”

Air & Power is the latest in three recent acquisitions to The Crommelin Group. In 2018, the group acquired Pneumatic Engineering before welcoming Mobile Compressed Air in 2020. In addition, realising the growing demand for reliable onsite gas generation systems in Australia, the group formed Gas Generation Australia in 2021. They also secured the Australian distributorship for CAT Power Tools Australia in 2022.

The acquisition process was finalised on March 1, 2024, furthering the group’s position in the compressed air services sector.
